The Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), officially known as the Office of the Narcotics Control Board, is a government department under the Ministry of Justice. It was established under the Narcotics Prevention and Suppression Act B.E. 2519 (1976). The Secretary-General of the Narcotics Control Board serves as the head of the organization. The organization is internally structured into 21 divisions/offices and 3 directly attached groups, responsible for strategic planning, implementation of measures in accordance with policies and directives, and internal administration.

On 21 September 2004, the Cabinet approved the internal reorganization of the ONCB, establishing ONCB Region 1 through Region 9 and the Bangkok Metropolitan Office to coordinate operations at the local level, covering 76 provinces and Bangkok. 

ONCB Region 1 is responsible for coordinating operations in Chai Nat, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Samut Prakan, Saraburi, Sing Buri, and Ang Thong. 

The former temporary office of ONCB Region 1 was located at the ONCB Building in Thung Song Hong, Vibhavadi Rangsit 25, Bangkok. The office was later relocated to its current location on 1 June 2018 at 88/9 Moo 3, Khu Bang Luang Subdistrict, Lat Lum Kaeo District, Pathum Thani Province.

The Executive Team of ONCB Region 1 consists of the Director and executive officers responsible for area coordination, law enforcement administration, asset inspection, intelligence analysis and surveillance, and strategy and administration.
